    Citrus-Marinated Chicken Drumettes

    Serves 6

    A healthy version of chicken wings!! Citrusy & spicy with a hint of garlic ~YUM!
     

    What You’ll Need:

    Measuring Cups & Spoons

    A Large Zip Top Bag

    A Broiler Pan

     

    Ingredients:

    2/3 Cup Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate

    1/3 Cup Lime Juice

    1/4 Cup Lemon Juice (About 1 Lemon)

    2 Tsp Sea Salt

    2 Tsp Minced Garlic (optional)

    1/4 Tsp Chipotle Pepper or Shakes of Hot Sauce to Personal Taste

    1 1/2 lbs Chicken Drumettes
     

    How To Put It Together:

    1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
     
    2) To your zip-top bag, add the frozen orange juice concentrate, the lime juice, the lemon juice, the sea salt, minced garlic and organic chipotle or other pepper. Give your bag a light shake to mix all the ingredients together.
     
    3) Add your chicken drumettes to the the bag. Close the bag, squeezing out as much of the air as you can. Place the bag in the fridge for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight.
     
    4) Once your drumettes are completely marinated, remove them one-by-one and line them up on your broiler pan like little soldiers.
     
    5) Place your pan in the center of your preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until you see them browning. Turn your drumettes and let them brown on the other side for about the same time.
     
    6) Serve & enjoy!
