Serves 8 – 10

What You’ll Need for Quinoa Polenta:

A Large Pot with a Cover
Measuring Cups & Spoons
A Nutri-Bullet or Food Processor
A Whisk
A Cheese Grater



1 1/2 Cup Quinoa, Roughly Ground
5 Cups Veggie or Chicken Broth
1 Tsp Sea Salt
1 Tsp White Pepper
Pinch Saffron
3 Tbsp Romano (Optional)


How To Put It Together:

1. Grind the quinoa in a nutri-bullet or food processor until it’s the consistency of corn meal.
2. To a large pot, add the broth, quinoa
, sea salt, white pepper and saffron; whisk the ingredients together. Bring the pot to a boil then reduce to a simmer; allow to thicken while whisking for about 5 minutes. When the quinoa has a porridge-like consistency, whisk in the romano.
3. Serve and enjoy.


Nina’s Tasty Tips:

The basics of this recipe can be served as a breakfast dish. Eliminate the white pepper, saffron and romano. Add 1/4 cup of honey and 2 teaspoons of honey and a handful of walnuts, if you like.
