Spicy Hearts of Palm & Tomato Salad

What You’ll Need:

A Sharp Kitchen Knife

A Salad Bowl

Measuring Cups and Spoons

Salad Tongs

A Small Bowl

A Whisk

 

Ingredients:

1 (14 Ounce) Jar of Hearts of Palm, Sliced

1 LB Grape Tomatoes, Halved Lengthwise

1 Yellow or Orange Pepper, Sliced

1/2 Red Onion, Thinly Sliced

1 Bunch Cilantro, Chopped

2 Tbsp Harissa Infused Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Lime Infused Olive Oil

2 Tbsp Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic

1/2 Tsp Sea Salt

 

How To Put It Together:

1) To a large salad bowl add the hearts of palm, grape tomatoes, bell pepper, onion and cilantro; toss.

 
2) In a small bowl, whisk together the Harissa infused olive oil, the lime infused olive oil and the Sicilian Lemon white balsamic. Pour it over the salad, covering the entirety of the bowl. Sprinkle with sea salt; toss.

 
3) Serve and enjoy.

 

Nina’s Tasty Tip:

An alternative spicy dressing would be: 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp lime juice, 1 tbsp lemon juice, shakes of hot sauce to personal taste.
