Strawberry Lemonade with Mint
Serves 6
What You’ll Need:
A Large Glass Pitcher
Measuring Cups & Spoons
A Strainer
A Sharp Kitchen Knife
A Blender
A Wooden Spoon or Whisk
Ingredients:
12 oz Strawberries, Organic
1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
1/4 Tsp Stevia
8 Cups Water
2 Tbsp Fresh Mint, Organic
How To Put It Together:
1) Remove the green tops of the strawberries and cut them into quarters. Chop the mint roughly; set aside. To a blender add the strawberries, and lemon juice; blend to a puree.
2) Hold a strainer on top of a glass pitcher. Pour the strawberry/lemon juice mixture through the strainer to remove the seeds, stirring with a spoon or whisk as needed.
3) To the blender, add about 1 cup of water and the chopped mint. Blend until green and fragrant. Add the mint water to the pitcher. Pour about half of the remaining 7 cups of water into the pitcher; then add the stevia. Pour the remaining water into the pitcher; whisk thoroughly to combine. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to cool until thoroughly chilled.
4) Serve and enjoy!
