Sun Dried Tomato Hummus

Serves 10


What You’ll Need:

Measuring Cups & Spoons

A Food Processor

A Spatula



1 (15 ounce) Can Organic Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans), Drained

1/2 Cup Sun Dried Tomatoes in Oil, Drained & Chopped

1/3 Cup Well-Stirred Tahini (Sesame Seed Paste)

1/4 Cup Lemon Juice

1/4 Cup Vegetable Broth

1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1/4 cup fresh parsley, cilantro or basil (Or a combination of the three)

2 Tsp Garlic, Minced

1 Tsp Sea Salt

1/4 Tsp Organic Chipotle


How To Put It Together:

1) Into the food processor, add the chick peas; process briefly just to break them up. Add the lemon juice, olive oil and tahini and process briefly scraping down the sides as needed. Add the sun dried tomatoes; process briefly, scraping down the sides as needed. Add the garlic, salt and chipotle; process briefly. Lastly add the cilantro; process until just mixed throughout.
2) Serve and enjoy!
